Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic ~ without more than normal supervision. Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain commercial or industrial heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) control systems and energy monitoring and control systems. Apply a comprehensive principle of electrical control theory to repair, maintain and service a variety of complete electrical and electronic systems with mechanical, hydraulic and/or pneumatic subsystems and equipment and electronic controls. Interpret electronic, electrical, and mechanical drawings, specifications, and schematics of complete control systems. Independently perform specific procedures and techniques to repair and replace a variety of electronic system parts and components either remotely or on site. Operate laptop computers, interface devices, and handheld microprocessors to monitor programs trend data, modify, schedule, reset, and analyze problems for variable frequency drive motors and air quality sensors. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
