About This Role
PHYSICAL EFFORT Lifts objects from moderate to heavy weights (Maximum weight of 50 lbs., anything over 50 lbs. will have assistance), climbs ladders, scaffolds, and work from platforms. May work in cramped and awkward positions, reaches, bends, lifts while using tools, parts, and/or equipment. WORKING CONDITIONS Work inside and outside in a variety of weather conditions. Subject to exposure to dust and dirt, grease, fumes, noise, etc. Workers are also subject to cuts, burns, bruises, electrical shocks, etc. Safety equipment is provided to minimize hazards. OTHER: This position is mission essential. May be required to work when the rest of the Base is closed or arrive on duty early and/or stay on duty after normal working hours to initiate maintenance repairs, remove snow, ice, etc.
