About This Role
Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed 1 year by a current permanent Army employee. Time-limited promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years. Time-limited reassignments and changes to lower grade may exceed five years, however return rights may be impacted. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes; Monitor the work in progress for compliance with established requirements; Review designs for conformance with current industry practices; Utilize Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) Software to design mechanical system layouts; Determine cause of deviations in test data resulting in mechanical system malfunctions; and Plan and schedule complex mechanical systems upgrades, modifications, equipment acquisition, and install
