Position Summary: The HVAC Service Technician will diagnose, repair, maintain, install, and replace residential and commercial HVAC systems. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide a professional and positive experience for every customer.
The ideal candidate has experience with both HVAC service and installation, including residential systems, commercial equipment, RTUs, ductwork, and system change-outs.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move HVAC equipment and materials

Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and outdoor conditions
Ability to climb ladders and perform physical work safely
Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work in various positions throughout the day

Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems according to design specifications, manufacturer requirements, and local mechanical codes
- Perform equipment repairs, maintenance, and preventative maintenance on existing HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot heating and cooling equipment to identify necessary repairs or replacement options
- Diagnose and repair HVAC issues efficiently and accurately
- Install, replace, and service residential and commercial HVAC equipment
- Complete HVAC system change-outs and equipment swaps
- Assist with ductwork installation and modifications
- Work alongside team members to complete installations and service projects
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety procedures
- Drive company vehicles safely to job sites for service calls, maintenance, and installations
- Complete accurate service notes, photos, job updates, and customer documentation using company software
- Communicate effectively with the administrative team regarding job status, customer needs, scheduling updates, equipment information, and any concerns that arise
- Work together with the office and field teams to ensure customers receive a smooth experience from scheduling through completion
- Use digital tools, software, and smartphone applications to manage daily work, communicate updates, and complete documentation
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding system operation, repairs, maintenance needs, and recommendations
- Provide a 5-star customer experience by treating every customer, home, and business with respect
Requirements
- 3-5 years of HVAC installation and service experience required
- Residential HVAC experience required
- Commercial HVAC experience preferred
- Colorado Mechanical IV (Mech IV) License required
- EPA Universal Certification required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles to and from job sites
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using smartphones, technology, and digital software to complete daily job requirements and communicate with the team
HVAC Experience & Technical Skills - Experience servicing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, installing, and replacing:

- Refrigerant charging and leak detection
- Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Preventative Maintenance
- Residential and commercial HVAC installations
- HVAC equipment replacements and system change-outs
- Reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting electrical/mechanical issues
- Ductwork installation, modifications, and repairs
- Equipment start-ups and verifying proper system operation
- Miscellaneous tasks as needed
