Experience for the WG-10 is defined as experience that demonstrates the ability to: Independently performing journey-level work in at least two skilled trades (such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or HVAC) to complete complex facility alteration, renovation, and construction projects; Install, modify, and repair specialized secure facility infrastructure, working with STC-rated wall systems, secure ceilings, acoustic and penetration protection systems, and secure door assemblies in Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) environments; AND Coordinate secure construction activities and ensuring compliance with established protocols experience includes identifying construction deficiencies, documenting concealed conditions for inspection, and collaborating with project managers, security personnel, quality assurance inspectors, and engineering staff to maintain the integrity of a secure construction project from start to finish. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
